Raiders bring in Archuleta

Napa, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Oakland Raiders signed safety Adam Archuleta
on Monday.
Archuleta, 30, was released by the Chicago Bears back in early May. The
Arizona State product played in 15 games last season, his only one with the
Bears. He finished with 61 tackles, two sacks and one interception.
Originally selected by the Rams in the first round (20th overall) of the 2001
NFL Draft, Archuleta spent five years in St. Louis before signing as an
unrestricted free agent with Washington prior to the 2006 season. Chicago
dealt a sixth-round draft pick to Washington in 2007 for the rights to
Archuleta.
The Raiders released safety Greg Wesley to make room on the roster.
